NETWORK FINALS:  OLYMPICS coverage had a healthy 0.4 adjustment in final numbers to 6.1.  As expected, the removal of NFL preseason preemptions made for much change elsewhere:  on ABC, BATTLEBOTS, THE $100,000 PYRAMID and MATCH GAME all fell 0.2; on CBS, the rerun BIG BANG THEORY fell 0.3, the LIFE IN PIECES and CODE BLACK reruns were down 0.2, and BIG BROTHER slipped 0.1; FOX plummeted to the tune of 0.4 for the ROSEWOOD rerun and 0.5 for the BONES rerun; and on CW, both the LEGENDS OF TOMORROW rerun and MY LAST DAYS fell 0.1.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  NFL Network’s back-to-back NFL PRESEASON games were in the 2 top slots on Thursday cable, with Philadelphia vs. Pittsburgh at 0.43 and Minnesota vs. Seattle at 0.40.  Tru’s IMPRACTICAL JOKERS tied the latter game, up 0.05 to 0.40, with INSIDE JOKES steady at 0.31.  A&E aired 2 hours of 60 DAYS IN-related programming, both at 0.38 (plus a 15-minute PRE-SHOW at 0.23), compared to 0.24 for a DAYS special last week.  History’s MOUNTAIN MEN ticked up to 0.38, and ICE ROAD TRUCKERS rose 0.08 to 0.32.  Cartoon Network once again hit the Top 10 with STEVEN UNIVERSE, up 0.03 from last Thursday to 0.37.  USA’s QUEEN OF THE SOUTH was up 0.03 to 0.35. On HGTV, HOUSE HUNTERS climbed 0.09 to 0.33, and HOUSE HUNTERS INTL was up a tenth to 0.31.  On We, BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES gained 0.05 to 0.32, and CUTTING IT IN THE ATL was up 0.07 to 0.24. Bravo’s FLIPPING OUT returned at 0.28.  RIO SUMMER OLYMPICS coverage could do no better than the 0.26 for primetime on NBC Sports Net (0.15 during the day), with USA at 0.11, CNBC at 0.09, MSNBC at 0.07, and Golf Channel at 0.04.  On MTV, WILD N OUT held at 0.24, and JOKING OFF dropped 0.03 to 0.14.  Food Network’s BEAT BOBBY FLAY rose 0.03 to 0.22.  Despite a cameo appearance by Jon Stewart, the final episode of THE NIGHTLY SHOW exited at 0.21, a tick behind the night’s installment of THE DAILY SHOW.  FX’s SEX&DRUGS&ROCK&ROLL fell 0.03 to 0.13.  POP’s IMPACT WRESTLING gained 0.03 to 0.10.  BBCAmerica’s RIPPER STREET was steady at 0.02/105K.
