NETWORK FINALS:  As we noted this morning, sports preemptions were so plentiful last night that we held our analysis for final numbers.

NBC:  THE WALL gained 0.2 to 0.9, then SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE held at last week’s 1.2.  After a 0.5 rerun of GREAT NEWS, THE NIGHT SHIFT rose 0.1 to 0.6.

ABC:  BOY BAND remained at 0.5.  The rest of the line-up returned from a week off and was also steady, with BATTLE OF THE NETWORK STARS and THE GONG SHOW both at 0.6.

CBS:  BIG BROTHER climbed 0.2 from last Thursday to 2.1, and ZOO stayed at 0.6.  The night began with 1.0/0.9 reruns.

FOX:  BEAT SHAZAM was again at 0.7, and LOVE CONNECTION was up 0.1 to 0.6.

CW:  PENN & TELLER: FOOL US had a 0.1 bump to 0.4, then both the new and rerun episodes of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY held at 0.3.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  Lifetime’s venerable PROJECT RUNWAY returned at 0.44, up 0.04 from the 2016 premiere.  On Bravo, the season premiere of FLIPPING OUT was at 0.29, and GIRLFRIENDS GUIDE TO DIVORCE had a 0.12 season premiere, down 0.03 from last season.  The season finale of History’s ALONE was up 0.05 to 0.35, and a related lead-out special was at 0.20.

NFL Network’s preseason game easily topped Thursday cable at 0.88.  On Tru, IMPRACTICAL JOKERS ticked up to 0.48, and the AFTER-PARTY show was up 0.02 to 0.27.  USA’s QUEEN OF THE SOUTH rose 0.04 to 0.42.  MTV’s WILD N OUT ticked up to 0.40, and SAFEWORD was down 0.04 to 0.24.  TBS’s THE GUEST BOOK lost 0.05 to 0.40.  On HGTV, HOUSE HUNTERS ticked up to 0.36, HOUSE HUNTERS INTL gained 0.03 to 0.33, DESERT FLIPPERS was down 0.03 to 0.31, and FLIP OR FLOP fell 0.06 to 0.30.  It was CNN’s turn for a cable news win, with CNN TONIGHT at 0.35/1.5M, above Fox News’s HANNITY at 0.34/2.8M, and MSNBC’s RACHEL MADDOW SHOW at 0.32/2.7M. Nickelodeon’s afternoon ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS was at 0.31. On ID, BAD BLOOD climbed 0.08 to 0.30, and MURDER AMONG FRIENDS was up 0.07 to 0.28.  Food Network’s BEAT BOBBY FLAY ticked down to 0.29.  E!’s BOTCHED edged up 0.02 to 0.28.  We’s GROWING UP HIP-HOP dropped 0.02 to 0.25.  Spike’s THE MIST was steady at 0.12.  CMT’s DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS ticked up to 0.11.  Discovery’s FIRST IN HUMAN ticked down to 0.10.  POP’s IMPACT WRESTLING held at 0.07.
