NETWORK UPDATE:  As expected, ABC’s ratings dived after MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL preemptions were removed, with DANCING WITH THE STARS down 0.3 and CASTLE down 0.4 from this morning.  Elsewhere, THE VOICE gained 0.1 in final numbers, but MINORITY REPORT went 0.1 in the other direction.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  ESPN romped, as usual, with MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, and the New England vs. Buffalo match-up was up 0.89 from last week’s game to 5.12.  On VH1, LOVE & HIP HOP dipped a tenth to 1.25, while BLACK INK CREW was up 0.06 to 0.94.  USA’s WWE telecast was at 1.04-0.93, somewhat below last week’s 1.18-1.09.  On Discovery, STREET OUTLAWS lost a tick to 0.99, while VEGAS RAT RODS lost 0.12 to 0.46.  Bravo’s VANDERPUMP RULES lost 0.07 to 0.54, and APRES SKI held at 0.22.  On TNT, MAJOR CRIMES gained 0.04 to 0.36, while LEGENDS, which didn’t air last week, was up a hundredth from 2 weeks ago to 0.12.  On Food Network, CAKE WARS XMAS rose 0.06 to 0.34, and CHOPPED was also at 0.34.  FX’s newly-renewed FARGO ticked up to 0.33.  On MTV, a CATFISH special was at 0.22, and two episodes of FOLLOW THE RULES were at 0.22/0.21, up slightly from last week’s 0.18/0.17.  Nat Geo’s entry into scripted programming, the miniseries SAINTS & STRANGERS, fell 0.09 from Sunday to 0.17.
