THE SKED NETWORK SCORECARD – 9/19/13

FOX’s X Factor problem is becoming a crisis.

Daily Comparison 2013 Thu Sep 19 three way

FOX:  THE X FACTOR fell another 0.3 from last week’s lackluster premiere to a series-low 1.9–and that’s before the regular season competition has even shown up.  It’s down a horrific 1.6 from the parallel night last season.  From 9-10PM, reruns of the DADS and BROOKLYN NINE-NINE pilots were at 1.2/1.1.

NBC:  At the moment, the finale of MILLION SECOND QUIZ appears to be up 0.3 from last week to 1.4, but that’s likely to be illusory, since the number includes the network’s Kansas City affiliate’s carriage of the Chiefs/Eagles game.  The number will probably return to earth this afternoon.  The VALERIE’S STORY newsmagazine special managed a 1.0.

ABC:  Similarly, the 1.2-1.4 rerun numbers at ABC are swollen by Philadelphia’s coverage of the NFL game.

CBS:  Reruns, highlighted by 2.1/2.2 for a pair of BIG BANG THEORY episodes.

CW:  Reruns at 0.3/0.2.

ABC starts its Friday schedule early tonight, with season premieres of LAST MAN STANDING, THE NEIGHBORS, SHARK TANK and 20/20.  Aside from that, DATELINE and CW’s unscripted shows are new.  On Saturday, both ABC and FOX will have primetime college football.  Sunday will be a busy night, with the EMMY AWARDS on CBS, season/series finales of COPPER, DEXTER, RAY DONOVAN and DEVIOUS MAIDS, and the penultimate episode of BREAKING BAD all airing against one another.
