THE SKED’S WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 8/15/12

The summer reality shows keep grinding away.

NBC:  The live hour of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT had the highest number of the night with 2.2 (no bump from its pre-Olympics Wednesday), but it was sandwiched between a pair of 1.3 hours of reruns, so the network was in 2d for the night.

FOX:  SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE won the night with 2 hours of 1.7.

CBS:  BIG BROTHER had a 2.1 at 8PM, but the repeats that followed were 1.2-1.0.

ABC:  Repeats at 1.0-1.3.

CW:  By CW standards, the musical chairs show OH SIT didn’t debut badly with a 0.5.

ABC is all new tonight, with TIME MACHINE CHEFS, about cooking as in olden times (no calling for pizza delivery?) joining its line-up.  The misbegotten SAVING HOPE returns to NBC, and CBS has BIG BROTHER.  None of that may matter, though, because NFL FOOTBALL, albeit preseason, returns to network television with a Bengals/Falcons game on FOX.
