THE SKED’S TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 4/2/13

Essentially, right now you could air a reading of the US budget after The Voice and do some kind of number.

NBC:  THE VOICE continued on its merry way, up 0.2 from last Tuesday’s installment to 4.3.  The first half of THE NEW NORMAL‘s season finale got the plum lead-in and rose 0.6 from last week to 1.9 (the same rating Go On had in the slot last week), although that was still 0.6 below its season high.  By 9:30PM, though, most of the curious had left, and the finale’s second half-hour fell to 1.4, just a bare 0.1 above New Normal‘s number last week.  SMASH, in its last Tuesday performance, slipped 0.1 to 0.9.  (See you on Saturday!)

ABC:  SPLASH continued to sink, down another 0.3 to 1.4–it’s now lost almost half the rating it had before The Voice became its competition.  DANCING WITH THE STARS fell 0.2 to 2.2, which is the same as the average it had in the fall, when it faced The Voice directly.  BODY OF PROOF fell a tick to 1.5.

CBS:  Reruns of both NCIS shows did better (1.4/1.6) than the 1.3 for a new episode of GOLDEN BOY at 10PM, the show’s  lowest Tuesday rating thus far.

FOX:  Both KITCHEN NIGHTMARES and THE MINDY PROJECT were down 0.1, to 1.9 and 1.4 respectively.

CW:  Reruns at 0.3/0.2.

All the networks are new tonight, and ABC makes one of its last moves of the season, launching the sitcom HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS (FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE) in the post-MODERN FAMILY slot and sliding SUBURGATORY down to 8:30PM.
