THE SKED’S THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 8/16/12

Football isn’t even back yet, and it’s already a winner.

FOX:  PRESEASON NFL FOOTBALL carried the night with 1.9.

CBS:  Only the 1.1 for a PERSON OF INTEREST rerun kept CBS from the evening crown, as BIG BROTHER did a 2.3, and 8-9PM sitcom reruns were at 2.1-1.9.

ABC:  The lousy 1.2 premiere for TIME MACHINE CHEFS killed the night, which otherwise was up from last week, WIPEOUT by 0.4 to 1.6, and ROOKIE BLUE by 0.2 to 1.3.

NBC:  SAVING HOPE and ROCK CENTER were both up, but it didn’t matter much when they were still at 0.9 and 1.2, respectively.

CW:  So much for OH SIT premiering well, as it toppled to 0.3 on its 2d night.  That tied the low premiere of THE NEXT.

Tonight brings more Preseason NFL Football on FOX, and a TEACHERS ROCK special on CBS, as well as newsmagazines on ABC and NBC.  On cable, BOSS returns for its 2d season on Starz.
