THE SKED’S SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 9/1/13

It was a slooooooooow Sunday on network TV.

CBS:  BIG BROTHER claimed the highest number of the night on any network, but its 1.8 was down a discouraging 0.7 from last week.  UNFORGETTABLE hit a new low 1.0, down 0.1.

NBC:  On its last Sunday before the return of regular-season football, the network could only manage a 0.9 for TV’S FUNNIEST OF THE FUNNIEST.

ABC:  Do the MDA people still have Jerry Lewis’s phone number?  Because the 2-hour version of his classic Labor Day telethon, called MDA’S SHOW OF STRENGTH, showed absolutely none with a wretched 0.2.  That was enough to make the 0.8 for its lead-in SECRET MILLIONAIRE look like a blockbuster, even down 0.2 from last week.

FOX:  As usual, animated reruns held up pretty well, with 1.1s for a pair of FAMILY GUYs.

Tonight’s NBC AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR runs 2 hours; apart from that it’s the usual summer Monday on the networks.
