THE SKED’S SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12/2/12

ABC’s Fall Finale Sunday was a moderate success.

ABC:  ONCE UPON A TIME could only hold even at 3.1 for its last episode of 2012.  REVENGE climbed 0.2 to 2.4, but that didn’t put it far above last week’s season low.  For what it matters, 666 PARK AVENUE was also up 0.2 to a still-tepid 1.4.

FOX:  The network rested its anchor cartoons THE SIMPSONS and FAMILY GUY with twin 1.9 reruns, so not surprisingly the satellite shows were down a bit:  BOB’S BURGERS by 0.2 to 1.8, and AMERICAN DAD by 0.1 to 2.0.

CBS:  The Eye had the late football game last night, sliding its primetime schedule.  Preliminary numbers have 60 MINUTES, THE AMAZING RACE, THE GOOD WIFE (which finally jettisoned its “Kalinda’s ex” storyline) and THE MENTALIST up a few tenths from last week, but the numbers may shift when they become final.

NBC:  Another month of Sunday night dominance for NBC before SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL ends for the season.  Last night’s preliminary Dallas/Philadelphia 6.6 was about even with last week’s preliminary (and as with last week, will rise in the final numbers).

Tonight’s line-ups are mostly new episodes of regular series, with a couple of exceptions:  ABC continues to air EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION in the absence of Dancing With the Stars and its dating shows, and NBC has a Blake Shelton Christmas special at 10PM.
