THE SKED’S MONDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 11/5/12

A small cloud in NBC’s perfect Monday playground?

NBC:  Last night REVOLUTION hit a new series low of 2.8.  That still makes it a tremendous hit, one that dominates its timeslot and indeed the 10PM hour in general… but it’s the show’s 3rd consecutive drop, and the timing is bad.  Revolution will only air 3 more times before going off the air until late March, and the network doesn’t want to bid it adieu while it’s headed downward.  Continued drops could bode badly for its Spring return.  Meanwhile, THE VOICE was also down to 4.5, more than enough to swallow everything else on the night.

CBS:  A night of season lows for HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, 2 BROKE GIRLS and MIKE & MOLLY (the latter tied its low), at 2.8, 3.2 and 2.8 respectively.  None of them were down heavily from last week, but it’s still the wrong direction.  PARTNERS and HAWAII 5-0, at 2.1 and 2.0, were one or two ticks above their lows.

FOX:  BONES and THE MOB DOCTOR returned for the first time since baseball did its dance with FOX’s schedule, more or less where they left off.  Bones tied the 2.0 it had on October 8, and Mob Doctor was up an insignificant 0.1 from its score that night to a still-dreadful 1.0.

ABC:  DANCING WITH THE STARS and CASTLE both tied their season lows at 2.1 and 1.9.

CW:  90210 held steady at 0.4, but GOSSIP GIRL continued its sad ride to the boneyard by declining to 0.3.

Today:  vote, if you haven’t already!  Then come home tonight and choose your ideological homebase of choice for election returns, which may well wind through the night.
