Best Friends not forever.
NBC: The burn-off of the final episodes of BEST FRIENDS FOREVER was ugly, as they scored a CW-level 0.6. DATELINE more than doubled that with a 1.4, winning the 9PM hour and a close 2d place at 10PM.
ABC: 20/20won the night for ABC with a 1.5, the highest rating on any network, after repeats that were in the low 1s.
CBS: Reruns of procedurals CSI NY and BLUE BLOODS were low with 0.7-0.6.
FOX: Similarly, HOUSE and BONES reruns hit 0.6-0.7.
CW: The rerun of BREAKING POINTE was higher than its initial run with a 0.4.
Tonight CBS continues burning off HOW TO BE A GENTLEMAN and ABC reruns 3 SECRET MILLIONAIRE episodes as a set-up for its season premiere tomorrow night, but the real battle will be in sports, with STANLEY CUP FINALS on NBC, MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL on FOX and NBA PLAYOFFS on TNT. Tomorrow, apart from Millionaire, ABC premieres EXTREME MAKEOVER: WEIGHT LOSS EDITION, and NBC runs an Adele concert special into the MISS USA PAGEANT, while everything interesting is on cable: the MTV MOVIE AWARDS, the season finale of GAME OF THRONES and A&E’s premiere of its new cop show LONGMIRE.
