THE SKED’S FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 3/15/13

A good night for Tom Selleck fans, and not much more.

CBS:  BLUE BLOODS was the highest rated show of the night, up 0.3 to 1.7.  However, it’s not clear at this point how much local preemptions for basketball championships affected Friday’s numbers.  Earlier in the evening, reruns of UNDERCOVER BOSS and HAWAII 5-0 were at 1.3/1.1.

NBC:  GRIMM slipped 0.1 to 1.4, even with reruns on CBS and ABC.  FASHION STAR and ROCK CENTER were nowhere with 0.8 and 0.7, respectively even and down 0.2.

ABC:  All the new programming was hit (although again, it’s not clear if preemptions figured into this):  LAST MAN STANDING down 0.2 to 1.3, MALIBU COUNTRY down 0.3 to 1.0, and 20/20 down 0.2 to 1.4.  A SHARK TANK rerun had a 1.6.

FOX:  Both KITCHEN NIGHTMARES and TOUCH were down 0.1, to 1.1 and 0.6 respectively.

CW:  A relatively good night if the numbers hold up, with NIKITA up 0.2 to 0.5, and even CULT up 0.1 to 0.3.

Tonight is a wasteland, with only some unscripted shows offering new programming.  Tomorrow, on the other hand, all the networks are new, and HBO has the season finale of GIRLS, sure to be particularly fascinating after last week’s controversial episode.
