Not much to say about a night when the networks weren’t even trying.
ABC: Winner of the night with a whopping 1.1 average. The high point was a 1.4 for 20/20 at 10PM.
NBC: The only network to air anything new for the night, even if it was DATELINE. That won it a 1.1 over 2 hours.
CBS: Nothing rated over 0.8.
FOX: Ditto for its reruns: HOUSE at 0.5, BONES at 0.8.
CW: Twin 0.3s.
Tonight is all about sports. ESPN’s Game 7 Boston/Miami NBA PLAYOFFS is certain to tower over NBC’s STANLEY CUP FINALS and FOX’s MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL. Tomorrow CBS airs the inevitably low-rated (and old-skewing) TONY AWARDS, but the excitement is on cable, where MAD MEN and VEEP end their seasons, and TRUE BLOOD makes its yearly arrival.
