Grimm has its night.
NBC: The season finale of GRIMM was the night’s highest rated show, with a 1.6 that was up 0.4 from last week and marked its highest-rated episode in months. (Imagine if the show were actually good!) It didn’t lift the rest of the evening, though: WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? was up, and DATELINE was down, only 0.1 each.
CW: No one was too excited about these season finales. NIKITA was even at its remind-me-how-this-got-renewed 0.4, and SUPERNATURAL was down a bit to 0.6.
ABC: Even though SHARK TANK (season finale), PRIMETIME and 20/20 were all down for the night (to 1.5 and twin 1.2s, respectively), Shark and 20/20 won their hours.
CBS: The magic number for reruns last night was 0.8, across the board numbers for UNDERCOVER BOSS, CSI NY and BLUE BLOODS.
FOX: A rerun of KITCHEN NIGHTMARES scored a–Marshall and Lily’s new son’s middle name–0.8.
Tonight’s main event comes after primetime: SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE‘s season finale with host/musical guest Mick Jagger and a slew of other guest musicians. (Look for our review late tonight.) Before that, FOX airs a Red Sox/Phillies baseball game, ABC has the theatrical Spider-Man 3 (why not hold that until closer to release of the new Spidey in July?), NBC preempts its The Firm burn-off for an AMERICA’S GOT TALENT rerun, and reruns on CBS. On Sunday, NBC mercifully ends CELEBRITY APPRENTICE for the season, FOX’s animations have their last outing till Fall (including a 1-hour FAMILY GUY), CBS airs a Tom Selleck TV-movie and ABC has the BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS.
