Without the train-wreck possibilities of the previous week’s Lindsay Lohan event, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE‘s ratings last night were down about 20%.  That’s a bit below the season average, suggesting Hill, despite his breakout Moneyball success, still isn’t a household name, but the 2.6 in 18-49s was still more than double the rating for any show airing in primetime on Saturday night, so no worries.

SNL now takes a 4-week break, returning on April 7 with Sofia Vergera.  It’ll be interesting to see how she fares, as she tries to broaden her appeal beyond Modern Family and soda commercials.
