SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 7.20.2016

 

NBC’s coverage of the REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION was even more dominant on Night 3, with a 1.3 rating compared to 0.5 for ABC and 0.4 for CBS.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

NBC:  AMERICA’S GOT TALENT carried the night, although at 2.2 it was down 0.2 from last week.

CBS:  BIG BROTHER dropped 0.1 from last Wednesday to 1.7.  AMERICAN GOTHIC, pushed to 9PM by convention coverage, gained 0.1 to 0.6.

FOX:  MASTERCHEF was up 0.1 to 1.2, and WAYWARD PINES held at 0.7.

CW:  PENN & TELLER: FOOL US and a new WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY were each down 0.1 to 0.3.  A WHOSE LINE rerun at 0.3 concluded the night.

ABC:  Reruns, led by MODERN FAMILY at 0.8.

REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION coverage ends tonight, but for a slightly different kind of convention, Syfy offers a LIVE FROM COMIC-CON special.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
