SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 9.19.2018

I FEEL BAD felt OK at best.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

NBC:  The season finale of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT was up 0.4 from last Wednesday to 2.0, but that was down a full point from the 2017 finale.  A 2-episode “preview” of the new sitcom I FEEL BAD (which premieres officially on Oct. 4) reported 1.2 for its first half-hour, but it began at 10:02 PM, so it may well come down in finals.  The second half-hour was at a mediocre 0.8.

CBS:  BIG BROTHER dropped 0.1 to 1.4.  It was followed by 0.5/0.5 reruns.

FOX:  The season finale of MASTERCHEF was steady with last week’s 1.0, and down 0.1/0.2 from last season’s finale.

CW:  BURDEN OF TRUTH fell 0.1 to 0.1, followed by a SUPERGIRL rerun at 0.1.

ABC:  Reruns at 0.5-0.7.

The only original show on network TV tonight is BIG BROTHER.  On cable, FX has the season finale of the just-renewed SNOWFALL.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day.
