SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12.26.2018

The KENNEDY CENTER HONORS did nothing to stir the holiday quiet.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis follows the chart.

CBS:  The annual KENNEDY CENTER HONORS special slipped 0.1 to a new low 0.6, although it was much stronger with older viewers, with a 10 share in that demo.

ABC:  Reruns at 0.4-0.7.

NBC:  Reruns at 0.6-0.7.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.5/0.4.

CW:  Reruns at 0.1/0.1.

Tonight, NBC quietly puts I FEEL BAD to sleep with airings of its final two original episodes.  (The network still has a contractual right to renew the show for next season, but that’s overwhelmingly unlikely.)

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

This feature will return in the New Year.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back FRIDAY for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day.
