SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 11.28.2018

 

Most shows returned from a week or more off.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  The line-up aired for the first time since November 7.  All of the comedies were down 0.1, with THE GOLDBERGS at 1.2, AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE at 1.0, MODERN FAMILY at 1.3 and SINGLE PARENTS at 0.9.  However, A MILLION LITTLE THINGS reversed the trend, gaining 0.1 to 0.8.

CBS:  A 2-hour SURVIVOR was up 0.3 from last week’s Thanksgiving Eve airing to 1.6, followed by a MAGNUM PI rerun at 0.5.

NBC:  A 2-hour CHRISTMAS AT ROCKEFELLER CENTER was down 0.4 from last year’s hour to 1.3, and A LEGENDARY CHRISTMAS followed at 0.8.

FOX:  EMPIRE rose 0.1 to 1.5, and STAR held at 1.1.

CW:  RIVERDALE was up 0.1 to 0.5, and ALL AMERICAN stayed at 0.3.

Tonight, ABC has a WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY holiday-themed special, and NBC airs a new LEGO JURASSIC WORLD cartoon. 

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day. Broadcast primetime ratings for Wednesday will be available Friday afternoon.
