SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 11.14.2018

 

The CMA AWARDS won the night, but sank badly.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  The 2.1 for the CMA AWARDS was a new low, down an enormous 1.2 from the 2017 edition.

CBS:  SURVIVOR dropped 0.2 to 1.4, and both SEAL TEAM (0.8) and CRIMINAL MINDS (0.7) were down 0.1.

NBC:  CHICAGO MED (1.2) and CHICAGO FIRE (1.3) were steady, while CHICAGO PD lost 0.1 to 1.0.

FOX:  EMPIRE slipped 0.1 to 1.4, and STAR remained at 1.1.

CW:  RIVERDALE (0.4) and ALL AMERICAN (0.3) held last week’s numbers.

It’s already time for midseason finales tonight, as ABC airs the final episodes of GREY’S ANATOMY, STATION 19 and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER for 2018.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
