SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 1.1.2020

A dim start for the new year.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

FOX:  FLIRTY DANCING plunged 0.6 from Sunday’s NFL-boosted airing to an awful 0.4 timeslot premiere.  It was followed by ALMOST FAMILY, down 0.3 to 0.3 with a lead-in far below its previous partner THE MASKED SINGER.

ABC:  Reruns at 0.3-0.6.

CBS:  EVIL reruns at 0.2-0.3.

NBC:  Reruns at 0.4-0.5.

CW:  Reruns at 0.1/0.1.

FOX tries again tonight with the season premiere of LAST MAN STANDING followed by the series premiere of THE DEPUTY.  In addition, ABC airs the season finale of THE GREAT AMERICAN BAKING SHOW.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back FRIDAY morning for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day.
