ABC’s Last Man Standing premiered with a very solid 3.5 Adult 18-49 rating from 8-9 pm, doubling the Dancing with the Stars repeat special in the time period last week (1.7 rating).  At 9 pm, Dancing with the Stars Results was up to a 3.2 rating (from 2.9 last week), while Body of Proof declined 0.1 to a 1.9 rating.  Overall, ABC Tuesday was up a strong seven tenths of a rating point to a 2.9.

CBS was down 0.2 on the night to a 3.2 rating.  NCIS (3.9 rating) dropped 0.3, NCIS: LA (3.3 rating) was down 0.1, and Unforgettable (2.3 rating) declined 0.2.  Despite hitting a series low, the Poppy Montgomery drama still won the 10 pm hour in a battle of attrition.

NBC is still stuck in the 2.0 range throughout the night.  The Biggest Loser averaged a 2.0 from 8-10 pm (though that might go up to a 2.1 in the official nationals), and Parenthood averaged a 2.1 from 10-11 pm (right around its season average despite a fairly decent promo push for the birth episode in recent days).

The CW’s 90210 was steady week to week with a 0.7 rating, while Ringer was up two tenths to a 0.8.
FOX carried ALCS Game 3 (Detroit winning at home over Texas to make the series 2-1 in favor of the Rangers).
