>Dancing with the Stars Results put ABC in the win column last night, which is normal for the final Tuesday of the November sweep, when the plastic trophy is awarded to America’s favorite dancer.  However, ABC is running 15% behind the pace of this night last year.  Look for much stronger casting in the next cycle of Dancing.  FOX and CBS were close to last year’s numbers on the night, while NBC was down double digits and just hanging on to a 2.0 rating.  Updated sweep numbers follow in the charts below — only one night remains and we can close the book on November 2011.  Also, the sweep to date averages now include the official nationals from Monday, where the biggest adjustments came to ABC’s new game show You Deserve It came all the way down to a disastrous 1.7 (though still above NBC’s programs on the night).

           NOVEMBER SWEEP LAST NIGHT
          2011 vs 2010 Day 27

                 2011    2010
          ABC     3.5     4.1     -15%
          FOX     3.2     3.1     + 3%
          CBS     2.9     3.0     – 3%
          NBC     2.0     2.2     -11%

           NOVEMBER SWEEP SCORECARD
          2011 vs 2010 Through Day 27 of 28

                 2011    2010
          FOX     3.1     2.7     +16%
          CBS     2.9     2.7     + 7%
          ABC     2.5     2.6     – 3%
          NBC     2.4     2.5     – 3%

The ABC comedy duo at 8 pm has definitely stabilized, and viewers finally showed up in decent numbers for the Dancing finale though still far below the finale on this night last year (a 5.3 rating).

ABC Tues    9.20 9.27 10.4 1011 1018 1025 11.1 11.8 1115 1122

Body of Proo2.2  1.8  2.0  1.8  1.9  1.8  1.9  —  2.0  —

FOX replaced its regular schedule with a displaced episode of The X Factor, which averaged a 3.2 rating last night, up a few tenths from the Tuesday 8-10 pm schedule the last two weeks and on par with the same night last year which averaged a 3.1 rating (Glee 4.0, Raising Hope 2.5, Raising Hope repeat 1.9).  After looking like it could be a 4-rated show for much of the season, The X Factor now looks like it is closer to a 3 rating — definitely acceptable but not a game changer.

FOX Tues    9.20 9.27 10.4 1011 1018 1025 11.1 11.8 1115 1122
Glee        4.0  3.7  3.6  —  —  —  3.0  3.1  3.0  —

Raising H   3.1  2.9  2.9  —  —  —  2.5  2.1  2.2  —

CBS had a relatively weak Tuesday night, season lows for all three dramas, but still in first place from 8-9 pm.  Even the very loyal CBS viewers couldn’t resist the temptation to find the remote and check out the finale of Dancing with the Stars.

CBS Tues    9.20 9.27 10.4 1011 1018 1025 11.1 11.8 1115 1122
NCIS        4.3  4.2  4.2  4.0  3.9  4.1  3.9  4.1  4.0  3.5*

Unforgettbl 2.9  2.5  2.5  2.3  2.5  2.5  2.3  2.4  2.4  2.2*

Another NBC Tuesday.  There really isn’t much to say.

NBC Tues    9.20 9.27 10.4 1011 1018 1025 11.1 11.8 1115 1122
