THE SKED’S TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 5/14/13

With May sweeps/Upfront week ratings like last night’s, you have to feel sorry for the network Ad Sales departments.

Daily Comparison 2013 Tue May 14

FOX:  A night of premieres and finales caused no excitement.  SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE premiered with a 1.9, down half a point from last year’s debut.  The season finales of NEW GIRL and THE MINDY PROJECT were even with last week at a respective 2.1 and 1.3.

CBS:  On a night of season finales, NCIS and NCIS LA were both up 0.1 from last week at 3.2 and 2.5.  That was down 0.3 and 0.5, respectively, from last year’s finales (the NCIS LA season finale ran 2 hours last year).  The last episode of GOLDEN BOY was even at 1.2.

NBC:  THE VOICE had a 2.0 clip show at 8PM, then the new 9PM hour was at 3.4, the highest-rated show of the night but down 0.3 from last week.  GRIMM continued its Tuesday slide downward, off 0.1 to a 1.7 (underscoring that NBC was right to leave it on Fridays in the fall).

ABC:  WIPEOUT started the night with a dismal 1.1, then DANCING WITH THE STARS was up a tick to 1.8, and BODY OF PROOF was even at 1.4.

CW:  A run of the Amy Adams rom-com movie LEAP YEAR had a 0.3.

Tonight CSI has its season finale on CBS, and both ARROW and SUPERNATURAL end their seasons on CW.
