MAKING IT ended its season.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

NBC:  The preliminary 1.8 for AMERICA’S GOT TALENT was down 0.1 from last week, and the season finale of MAKING IT was steady at 0.8.

ABC:  BACHELOR IN PARADISE slipped 0.1 to 1.0, and CASTAWAYS held at 0.5.

FOX:  Returning from a rerun week, BEAT SHAZAM stayed at 0.7, and LOVE CONNECTION remained at 0.4.

CBS:  Reruns at 0.5-0.6.

CW:  Reruns at 0.2/0.2.

The venerable IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA returns tonight for another season on FXX.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back Thursday morning for detailed demographic ratings for top Tuesday cable programs, later than usual due to the Labor Day holiday.
