AMERICA’S GOT TALENT reached a high in the home stretch of its season.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

NBC:  Rebounding from last week’s 9PM airing, AMERICA’S GOT TALENT moved back to 8PM and jumped 0.7 to a season high 3.0.  A PALEY CENTER SALUTES THE BEST OF WILL & GRACE special lost most of that lead-in at 1.2.

ABC:  SOMEWHERE BETWEEN ended its season up 0.1 to 0.4.  It aired after 0.6-0.8 sitcom reruns.

CBS:  Reruns at 0.6-0.7.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.4-0.5.

CW:  Reruns at 0.2/0.2.

With the summer season about to end, there are finales tonight for BIG BROTHER, AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, MASTERCHEF, SALVATION and USA’s THE SINNER.  In addition, NBC gives the post-AGT finale slot to the 1-hour early season premiere of THE GOOD PLACE, which returns to its Thursday slot next week. 

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
