SHOWBUZZDAILY TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 4.2.2019

Even THIS IS US is feeling the erosion of broadcast TV.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

NBC:  The Season 3 finale of THIS IS US easily topped the night, and it was up 0.1 from last week to 1.8, but that was down 0.9 from last year’s finale.  It was preceded by an ELLEN’S GAME OF GAMES that was down 0.1 to 1.1, and followed by THE VILLAGE, up 0.1 to 0.8 (subject to adjustment, since THIS IS US ran until 10:01PM).

ABC:  After an hour of sitcom reruns at 0.7/0.6, BLACK-ISH gained 0.1 to 0.7, and both SPLITTING UP TOGETHER (0.6) and THE ROOKIE (0.7) were steady.

CBS:  NCIS lost 0.1 to 1.1, FBI held at 0.9, and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was up 0.1 to 0.8.

FOX:  MASTERCHEF JR (0.7) and MENTAL SAMURAI (0.6) were steady.

CW:  Reruns at 0.2/0.2.

Tonight, FXX’s YOU’RE THE WORST reaches the end of its run.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day.
