SHOWBUZZDAILY TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12.31.2019

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis follows the chart.

ABC:  DICK CLARK’S PRIMETIME NEW YEAR’S EVE, as usual, dominated the night.  But the preliminary 2.0/3.2 for its 2 segments was below last year’s 2.2/3.5.

NBC:  A TOAST TO 2019 gained 0.1 from last year’s edition to 1.0, and the NBC NEW YEAR’S EVE SPECIAL was also up 0.1 to 1.4.

FOX:  FOX’S NEW YEAR’S EVE WITH STEVE HARVEY lost 0.1 to 0.8.

CBS:  Reruns at 0.3-0.5.

CW:  A rerun IHEARTRADIO MUSIC FESTIVAL at 0.1.

FOX is the first network out of the 2020 gate tonight with the timeslot premiere of FLIRTY DANCING.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back THURSDAY afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day, delayed by the New Year’s Day holiday.
