SHOWBUZZDAILY TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12.22.2020

 

THE BACHELORETTE took the night, but it was down heavily from last season.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  The season finale of THE BACHELORETTE was up 0.1 from last Tuesday to 1.2, but down a big 0.9 from the July 2019 finale.  It was followed by an episode of SUPERMARKET SWEEP at 0.5.

CBS:  THE PRICE IS RIGHT AT NIGHT was at 0.7, and LET’S MAKE A DEAL PRIMETIME was at 0.6.  A rerun of NCIS was at 0.3.

NBC:  Reruns at 0.4/0.5.

FOX:  The back-to-back finale episodes of NEXT were at 0.2/0.2, steady with last week.

CW:  The season finale of SWAMP THING held at 0.1, followed by TELL ME A STORY at a steady 0.1.

Tonight, ABC airs the season finale of THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

Note: The fast affiliate-based ratings below measure what aired on network affiliates in 210 U.S. markets from 8-11 pm Eastern & Pacific or 7-10 pm Central & Mountain. The numbers are some combination of the network schedule and any pre-emptions (such as local news or weather coverage).
