SHOWBUZZDAILY TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 1.5.2021

 

A quiet return for THIS IS US.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  The network premiere of the (pseudo) live-action version of THE LION KING was at 0.7, followed by a news special at 0.4.

CBS:  Reruns at 0.4-0.6.

NBC:  The season premiere of ZOEY’S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST was at 0.5, down 0.1 from the series premiere (which also aired with THIS IS US on a Tuesday) but up 0.1 from the season finale (on a Sunday).  The first new THIS IS US since November 17 was at 1.0, down 0.1 to a new series low.  NURSES had its timeslot premiere at 0.3.

FOX:  An AMERICAN ROAD TRIP special was at 0.4.

CW:  A new WORLD’S FUNNIEST ANIMALS was at 0.1, followed by reruns at 0.1/0.1/0.1.

Tonight, FOX’s THE MASKED DANCER has its timeslot premiere, followed by the series premiere of the rebooted NAME THAT TUNE.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

Note: The fast affiliate-based ratings below measure what aired on network affiliates in 210 U.S. markets from 8-11 pm Eastern & Pacific or 7-10 pm Central & Mountain. The numbers are some combination of the network schedule and any pre-emptions (such as local news or weather coverage).
