SHOWBUZZDAILY TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 1.16.2018

 

A solid start for BLACK LIGHTNING.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

CW:  THE FLASH returned steady from its holiday hiatus at 0.8, and BLACK LIGHTNING held all of its lead-in in 18-49s and 95% of its total viewers.  (By comparison, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW was losing at least 25% of its FLASH lead-in.)

NBC:  ELLEN’S GAME OF GAMES rose 0.1 to 2.2, THIS IS US fell 0.2 to 2.5, and CHICAGO MED was up 0.1 to 1.5.

ABC:  THE MIDDLE gained 0.1 to 1.4, FRESH OFF THE BOAT held at 1.0, and BLACK-ISH was also steady at 1.0.  After a MODERN FAMILY rerun at 0.8, KEVIN (PROBABLY) SAVES THE WORLD remained at 0.6.

FOX:  LETHAL WEAPON climbed 0.2 to 1.2, LA TO VEGAS flew up 0.1 to 0.9, and THE MICK was up 0.1 to 0.8.

CBS:  Reruns at 0.7-1.0.

FX premieres AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE ASSASSINATION OF GIANNI VERSACE tonight, and Comedy Central debuts CORPORATE with back-to-back episodes.

 

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back Thursday morning for detailed demographic ratings for top Tuesday cable programs, later than usual due to the MLK holiday.
