THE SKED’S THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 4/11/13

With the other 3 networks in reruns, FOX and NBC prospered.

FOX:  An “event” GLEE that dealt (albeit in a superficial, gimmicky way) with the issue of school shootings gave the show a 2.4, an increase of 0.4 from its last episode and the show’s best rating in over a month.  Prior to that, AMERICAN IDOL was up 0.2 to 3.1, higher than it’s been for the past 3 Thursdays.

NBC:  The highly-promoted Muppet episode of COMMUNITY boosted it 0.2 to 1.2.  PARKS & RECREATION was steady at 1.5, then THE OFFICE was up a tick to 1.9.  The season finale of GO ON only managed the same 1.1 as last week, not a strong argument for renewal.  Facing only reruns on the other networks, HANNIBAL held at 1.6.

ABC:  Only WIFE SWAP was new last night, up 0.1 to 1.4.  After that, GREY’S ANATOMY and SCANDAL reruns were at 1.3/0.9.

CBS:  A night of reruns, led by THE BIG BANG THEORY with 2.9, which was the highest rated show of the night on any network.  Also notable:  the repeat of ELEMENTARY at 10PM was only 0.2 behind the hour’s new episode of Hannibal.

CW:  Reruns had twin 0.3s.

A mix of fresh episodes and reruns tonight, with GRIMM, SHARK TANK and KITCHEN NIGHTMARES among the latter.  On cable, Starz premieres its new series DA VINCI’S DEMONS.
