THE SKED’S THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 5/31/13

A steadily unimpressive night.

Daily Comparison 2013 Thu May 30

CBS:  The season finale of MIKE & MOLLY, pushed back because of a tornado storyline, was all but buried among reruns on Thursday night, and it only managed a series-low 1.8, even below the BIG BANG THEORY rerun that preceded it with a 2.0.  After that, procedural reruns were at 1.3/1.1, with the former number enough to win the 9PM hour.

ABC:  The night was 1.1/1.2/1.2 for WIPEOUT (down 0.1 from last week), MOTIVE (also down 0.1) and ROOKIE BLUE (steady, and the narrow winner of its hour).

FOX:  HELL’S KITCHEN won the 8PM hour (tying CBS for the first half-hour), even though its 2.0 was down 0.2 from last week.  DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO GO? fell 0.3 from its premiere to 1.0.

NBC:  The absolutely awful SAVE ME continued its burn-off with 0.7/0.6.  After 0.7 for a rerun of THE OFFICE, the newly-renewed HANNIBAL was even at 1.0, in last place for its hour.

CW:  Reruns at 0.5/0.4.

Only the news-ish shows are new in primetime tonight, with sports in the spotlight on Saturday night:  STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS on NBC and MLB BASEBALL on FOX.
