THE SKED’S THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 7/25/13

A very steady if unexciting night on the networks.

Daily Comparison 2013 Thu Jul 25

FOX:  The closest thing to an event in primetime last night was the season finale of HELL’S KITCHEN, which was up a tick from last week to 2.2 (but off 0.2 from last season’s finale, which didn’t air till Sept 2012).

ABC:  WIPEOUT fell even further, down 0.1 to a new low 1.0, which is less than half of what the show was doing in the same slot last summer.  MOTIVE and ROOKIE BLUE were steady at 0.8 and 1.0 (for Rookie, that’s down 0.4 from the parallel night last summer).

CBS:  BIG BROTHER was even at 2.4, making it the highest rated show of the night, and THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night’s highest rated rerun with 1.9.

NBC:  HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT eked out a 0.1 increase to 1.3, enough to win the 10PM hour.  The rerun and new episodes of THE WINNER IS were at 0.6/0.9, the latter tied with last week.

CW:  Reruns at 0.3/0.2.

CBS reruns a Tim McGraw music special from last season tonight, and other than that the only notable fare is on the newsmagazine side of the line-up, where ABC and NBC have new material.  On Saturday, FOX has a UFC match to liven up primetime.  On Sunday, CBS launches the rebooted UNFORGETTABLE, which was canceled from the regular season line-up and then uncanceled for summer.
