Note that although NBC aired a national PRESEASON NFL game last night, other local stations aired competing local games, so there may be an unusual number of adjustments this afternoon.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

NBC:  THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (however NBC branded it for the night) returned to network TV with a preliminary 1.6.

CBS:  Currently, BIG BROTHER is up 0.1 from last week at 1.9, with the reruns surrounding it led by THE BIG BANG THEORY at 1.4.

ABC:  BATTLEBOTS aired its first original episode since August 4, and is down 0.1 to 0.8 for now, followed by game show reruns at 0.7-0.8.

CW:  BEAUTY AND THE BEAST returned from a week off at a steady 0.2, the same as the LEGENDS OF TOMORROW rerun that preceded it.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.7-0.8.

There’s more NFL PRESEASON tonight, this time on CBS.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
