THE SKED THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 7/5/12

There was plenty of original programming available on Thursday, but viewers wanted only one familiar friend.

CBS:  Back-to-back reruns of THE BIG BANG THEORY were the highest rated shows of the night, with 2.1 and 2.4 ratings–nothing else on the networks even got close to a 2.  Even though the PERSON OF INTEREST and MENTALIST reruns that filled out the night were considerably lower (1.5/1.2), that was enough to give CBS the win.

ABC:  The 2d live DUETS scored the same lousy 1.0 as the first.  WIPEOUT and ROOKIE BLUE, though, won their hours with a respective 1.7 (down 0.3 from last week) and 1.3 (up 0.2).

FOX:  The finale of TAKE ME OUT and next-to-last THE CHOICE were both up, by 0.3 to 1.3 and by 0.4 to 1.6.

NBC:  The high point of the night was a 0.9 for ROCK CENTERSAVING HOPE hit a new low with a truly terrible 0.4.

CW:  A new BREAKING POINTE had a 0.3 (practically a hit by the standards of CW’s summer), followed by a 0.3 for a VAMPIRE DIARIES rerun.

Everything is a rerun tonight except the newsmagazines on ABC and NBC.
