ABC:  BOY BAND’s 2-hour debut was subdued at 0.7.  THE GONG SHOW’s reboot premiered somewhat better at 0.9.

NBC:  HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT returned at 0.8, and THE WALL began new episodes at 0.9.  THE NIGHT SHIFT returned at 0.6, which was down half a point from its 2016 premiere, and that in turn was down 0.4 from 2015.  It’s worth noting, though, that the lead-ins have gotten sharply lower as well, from 4.0 to 1.7 to 0.9.

FOX:  BEAT SHAZAM and LOVE CONNECTION returned from a week off, with SHAZAM steady at 1.0, and LOVE up 0.1 to 0.8.

CBS:  Reruns, led by THE BIG BANG THEORY at 1.0, and in the 0.5-0.8 range after that.

CW:  Reruns at 0.3/0.3.

CW’s THE ORIGINALS belatedly ends its season tonight  On cable, PLAYING HOUSE returns to USA with back-to-back episodes.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
