SHOWBUZZDAILY THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 5.9.2019

 

PARADISE HOTEL was no paradise.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  Coming off a crossover event, GREY’S ANATOMY lost 0.1 to 1.3, and STATION 19 fell a heavier 0.3 to 0.9.  The now-canceled FOR THE PEOPLE dropped 0.1 to 0.4.

CBS:  The entire line-up was steady, with THE BIG BANG THEORY at 1.9, YOUNG SHELDON at 1.5, the season finale of MOM at 1.1 (compared to last year’s 1.5/1.3), LIFE IN PIECES at 0.8, and SWAT at 0.7.

NBC:  SUPERSTORE was at 0.8/0.7 compared to last week’s 0.9.  BROOKLYN NINE-NINE was up 0.1 to 0.6, and ABBY’S stayed at 0.4.  SVU dipped 0.1 to 0.7.

FOX:  The premiere of PARADISE HOTEL was lackluster at 0.5.

CW:  IZOMBIE remained at 0.2, and IN THE DARK rose 0.1 to 0.2.

AGENTS OF SHIELD returns to ABC tonight, and there are season finales for MACGYVER and BLUE BLOODS on CBS, as well as LAST MAN STANDING, THE COOL KIDS and PROVEN INNOCENT on FOX.

 

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
