SHOWBUZZDAILY THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 5.7.2020

 

The newcomers arrived low.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE gained 0.1 to 0.9, but both STATION 19 (0.8) and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER (0.5) lost the same.

CBS:  On what turned out to be a line-up of the canceled, after a 0.7 YOUNG SHELDON rerun, MAN WITH A PLAN was steady at 0.7.  Similarly, after a MOM rerun at 0.6, BROKE (0.6) and TOMMY (0.5) were steady.

NBC:  The timeslot premiere of COUNCIL OF DADS gained 0.1 to 0.4 compared to last week’s 10PM premiere.  The final season of BLINDSPOT premiered at 0.3, down from last year’s 0.5 (on a Friday in October).  An SVU rerun was at 0.3.

FOX:  CELEBRITY WATCH PARTY premiered at 0.4, followed by a MENTAL SAMURAI rerun at 0.3.

CW:  KATY KEENE (0.1) and IN THE DARK (0.1) were steady.

Tonight, CW’s DYNASTY airs its last available episode.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

      Wow even my 0.4 guess was to generous… I’d burn this thing off, reruns of anything would get better than a 0.3…
