SHOWBUZZDAILY THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 4.30.2020

The news for NBC was good and not-so-good.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE aired in its new regular timeslot, and at 0.8 it was up 0.2 from its last new Wednesday episode.  Returning from a week off, STATION 19 (which last aired with a huge lead-in from the DISNEY SINGALONG special) dropped 0.3 to 0.9, and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER was steady at 0.6.

CBS:  YOUNG SHELDON returned from a rerun week up 0.1 to 1.1.  Back-to-back episodes of MAN WITH A PLAN (notwithstanding the chart) were at 0.7/0.7, steady with last week.  BROKE (0.6) and TOMMY (0.5) were steady.

NBC:  The clip show that preceded the PARKS & RECREATION reunion special was at 1.0, and the reunion itself was at a robust 1.4.  Despite that lead-in, a re-broadcast of the COUNCIL OF DADS pilot was at 0.4, and the new episode that followed sank to 0.3.

FOX:  The season finale of LAST MAN STANDING was at 0.7, steady with last week and down 0.1 from last year’s finale (on a Friday).  Reruns followed at 0.5/0.3.

CW:  KATY KEENE (0.1) and IN THE DARK (0.1) were steady.

Tonight’s not-really season finale is CW’s CHARMED.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
