Good timing for the story revealing that Ellen Pompeo has renewed her GREY’S ANATOMY deal for 2 additional seasons.

ABC:  TGIT roared back into life for the first time since November 16.  GREY’S ANATOMY was up 0.4 to 2.2, SCANDAL rose 0.2 to 1.3, and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER ticked up to 1.0.

CW:  SUPERNATURAL and ARROW returned from their hiatus, with each up 0.1, SUPERNATURAL to 0.6 and ARROW to 0.5.

CBS:  THE BIG BANG THEORY shed 0.2 to 2.9, and YOUNG SHELDON was also down 0.2 to 2.4, while MOM (1.6) and LIFE IN PIECES (1.2) were steady.  SWAT dipped 0.1 to 1.0.

NBC:  SUPERSTORE was down 0.1 to 1.0, THE GOOD PLACE stayed at 1.0, WILL & GRACE rose 0.2 to 1.3, and GREAT NEWS was up 0.1 to 0.7.  CHICAGO FIRE climbed 0.1 to 1.0.

FOX:  THE FOUR was up 0.1 to 1.2.

 

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
