Tuesday prime time averages from last night show another 24% decline in live+same day DVR viewing for the four broadcast networks (from an 11.6 combined Adult 18-49 rating for the four networks on the same night last year to a preliminary 8.8 last night). Not exactly, the sky is falling, but it’s pretty serious.
Note: October 2 (last night) was the second Tuesday of the young television season. The second Tuesday last season fell on September 27 (our comparison point in the charts below), as the season started relatively earlier in 2011.

NBC’s fourth Tuesday with semi-original episodes (the second Tuesday of the official television season), suffered from a “Best of” clip show for The Voice. The recently picked-up Go On and New Normal have to be a cause for concern, especially New Normal crashing below a 2 rating, well into the high-1`s, exactly as we forecast.
