THE SKED’S SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 8/25/13

The regular season hasn’t started yet, but the NFL is already in charge.

NBC:  Per Mitch Metcalf, although preliminary numbers have the Sunday night NFL PRESEASON FOOTBALL game at a 2.1, we anticipate that final numbers will bring that to 2.6, easily winning the night for NBC.

CBS:  BIG BROTHER rose 0.2 to 2.3, and UNFORGETTABLE was up 0.1 to 1.2 with weaker ABC competition in the hour.

ABC:  SECRET MILLIONAIRE moved into the 9PM slot, and fell 0.3 to 0.9.  FAMILY DANCE OFF had no takers at 8PM, with a lonely 0.7 start.

FOX:  The 7PM AMERICAN DAD rerun didn’t suddenly become a hot commodity–that FOX number will turn out to include an overrun from NFL afternoon games.  Apart from that, the night of animated reruns was highlighted by 1.2/1.3 for a pair of FAMILY GUY episodes.

With THE BACHELORETTE done for the season, ABC is shifting the last few episodes of MISTRESSES to 9PM, giving the show a chance against unscripted competition.  Other than that, it’s a normal summer Monday, with an all-new line-up on NBC and a fresh UNDER THE DOME on CBS.  On cable, A&E has the season finale of LONGMIRE.
