Demo Profile 2014 SUN Nov 9

ABC:  The night’s best news was a 0.3 bump for AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS, up to 1.5.  After that, ONCE UPON A TIME dipped 0.1 to 2.5, and RESURRECTION dropped 0.2 to 1.2, although REVENGE showed a spark of life, climbing 0.1 to 1.3.

CBS:  Without the national late NFL game as lead-in, 60 MINUTES plunged by almost 2 points to 1.5.  MADAM SECRETARY was also hit, down 0.4 to 1.4.  THE GOOD WIFE held at 1.4, and CSI, airing for the first time in primetime in 3 weeks after multiple football preemptions, was down 0.2 to a series low 1.2.

FOX:  It was FOX’s turn for the late national game, which sent THE SIMPSONS up 0.9 to 2.9.  BROOKLYN NINE-NINE only retained a sliver of that gain, up 0.1 to 1.8.  FAMILY GUY was down 0.7 from its last fresh episode to 1.8, and MULANEY, with a stronger lead-in than last week’s FAMILY GUY rerun, was up 0.2 to 0.9.

NBC:  SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL had no trouble dominating everything on the other networks, up 0.1 from last week’s preliminary rating to 6.2.

Tonight’s episode of THE BLACKLIST is the last one scheduled to air in the Monday 10PM slot.  After tonight, it goes into hibernation (replaced next week by the Katherine Heigl vehicle STATE OF AFFAIRS), to return with a post-Super Bowl showcase and then a move to the far more competitive Thursday 9PM slot.  Expect tonight’s episode to feature a massive revelation and/or cliffhanger to hold viewers until February.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
