CBS:  The TONY AWARDS had a preliminary 1.0, up 0.1 from 2017’s early number.  With the exception of the HAMILTON year, the Tonys have been fairly consistent over the past several years.  The night began with 60 MINUTES up 0.1 to 0.7.

ABC:  After 0.7 for a rerun AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS, it was a night of season premieres.  CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD returned up 0.2 to 1.7, THE $100,000 PYRAMID was steady at 1.2 (it aired at 10PM in 2017), and TO TELL THE TRUTH was at 0.9, which was up 0.3 from last year, but that was on a Wednesday with sitcom reruns at lead-ins.

FOX:  GHOSTED aired two previously unseen episodes at 0.4/0.4, heavily down from its in-season airings during football season.  The rest of the night featured reruns at 0.4-0.5.

NBC:  DATELINE was steady at 0.5, and then reruns were at 0.7/0.5.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

  1. Looks like FOX slipped Ghosted back on the schedule with little notice and the ratings were pretty low. The network previously claimed they were still considering the possibility of a second season, but looks like it is in burn-off mode at this point.

Yeah, there’s literally no other reason to bench it for as long as they did and then dump it in Summer between repeats.

And given they started back from the eleventh ep and not the tenth that was prematurely released on Amazon, shows they are just burning them off.
