SHOWBUZZDAILY SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 4.26.2020

 

The return of regular AMERICAN IDOL episodes provided a bump.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  After a rerun of the DISNEY FAMILY SINGALONG special at 0.6, AMERICAN IDOL rose 0.2 to 1.0.  Returning from a week off, THE ROOKIE was steady at 0.7.

CBS:  60 MINUTES held at 0.9.  The two-episode series finale of GOD FRIENDED ME was at 0.6/0.5, compared to last week’s 0.5 hour.  NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was steady at 0.6.

NBC:  LITTLE BIG SHOTS (0.3), THE WALL (0.4), ZOEY’S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST (0.3) and GOOD GIRLS (0.3) were all down 0.1.

FOX:  After reruns at 0.3/0.3, THE SIMPSONS (0.5), DUNCANVILLE (0.4), BOB’S BURGERS (0.5) and FAMILY GUY (0.6) were steady.

CW:  The first new BATWOMAN since March 22 was steady at 0.2.  SUPERGIRL was a rerun at 0.1.

There’s a premature season finale for FOX’s PRODIGAL SON tonight, as well as actual finales for AMC’s DISPATCHES FROM ELSEWHERE and FX’s BREEDERS.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top Friday cable programs. Saturday & Sunday cable ratings will be posted Tuesday morning.
