SHOWBUZZDAILY SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 4.19.2020

 

The return of original animation to FOX didn’t excite viewers.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  After a rerun AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS at 0.8, another non-competition edition of AMERICAN IDOL dropped 0.2 to 0.8.  A rerun of THE ROOKIE was at 0.4.

CBS:  60 MINUTES was steady at 0.9.  GOD FRIENDED ME (0.5), NCIS: LA (0.6) and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS (0.5) were down 0.1.

NBC:  Returning from a week off, LITTLE BIG SHOTS was up 0.1 to 0.4, and ZOEY’S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST (0.4) and GOOD GIRLS (0.4) were steady.

FOX:  Most of the line-up hadn’t aired since March 22, and after reruns at 0.3/0.3, THE SIMPSONS dropped 0.1 to 0.5, and DUNCANVILLE (0.4) and BOB’S BURGERS (0.5) were steady.  The first new FAMILY GUY since March 15 held at 0.6.

CW:  Reruns at 0.1/0.1.

Tonight, there are finales for AMC’s BETTER CALL SAUL and HBO’s THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top Friday cable programs. Saturday & Sunday cable ratings will be posted Tuesday morning.
