SHOWBUZZDAILY SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 3.29.2020

 

The first coronavirus-inspired entertainment special was a success.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS gained 0.1 to 1.1, and AMERICAN IDOL lost 0.1 to 1.3.  The night ended with a rerun of THE ROOKIE at 0.5.

CBS:  60 MINUTES dropped 0.1 to 1.0.  Returning from a week off, GOD FRIENDED ME was steady at 0.6, and NCIS: LA was up 0.1 to 0.7, with NCIS: NEW ORLEANS steady at 0.7.

NBC:  LITTLE BIG SHOTS fell 0.2 to 0.4, and THE WALL was down 0.1 to 0.5.  ZOEY’S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST (0.4) and GOOD GIRLS (0.5) were steady.

FOX:  After reruns at 0.2-0.6, the IHEART LIVING ROOM CONCERT FOR AMERICA was at 1.3.

CW:  Reruns at 0.1/0.1.

There’s another pandemic-related music special tonight, CBS’s HOMEFEST.  In addition, ABC airs the season finale of THE GOOD DOCTOR.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
