The afternoon NFL switch between CBS and FOX will change things up for those networks each week.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

CBS:  With the late afternoon game as lead-in, 60 MINUTES doubled to 2.2, WISDOM OF THE CROWD rose 0.2 to 1.2, and NCIS: LA was up 0.1 to 1.1.  The effect dissipated by MADAM SECRETARY, which stayed at 0.8.

FOX:  Conversely, no national game meant that after BOB’S BURGERS aired at a preliminary 1.1, THE SIMPSONS fell by 0.9 to 1.3, GHOSTED was down 0.4 to 1.0, FAMILY GUY lost 0.2 to 1.2, and THE LAST MAN ON EARTH dropped 0.2 to 0.8.

ABC:  TOY BOX held at 0.4, AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS was down 0.1 to 0.8, SHARK TANK (1.1) and 10 DAYS IN THE VALLEY (0.4) were steady. 

NBC:  The preliminary 5.0 for SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was down 0.2 from last week’s early number.

All the networks keep their line-ups in place tonight.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
