THE SKED: NBC Banishes “The Firm”

It turns out there are some numbers so low that even NBC can’t endure them.  After an inconceivably bad 0.8 rating for THE FIRM last night–lower than most network shows score in reruns, and only 0.1 ahead of The Secret Circle on CW–NBC finally pulled the trigger and will push the show to the Siberia of Saturdays, where (no doubt due to contractual requirements) it will run out the remainder of its order.

NBC is putting long-awaited drama AWAKE in the Thursday 10PM slot, but it continues to show oddly shaky confidence in that show by waiting a full month before making the change.  For the remainder of February sweeps, the slot will be filled by GRIMM reruns, which is good news for Private Practice and The Mentalist
